BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Inukan Local Council Development Area which has its Headquarter at Ajia was calved out of Ona-Ara Local Government during the regime of His Excellency Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi in December, 2016
The Local Council Development Area shares boundaries with Osun State in the South while it was bounded to the East and South with Egbeda Local Government as well as Oluyole and Ibadan North Local Government on the North and the West respectively.
Inukan Local Council Development Area is majorly agrarian with most of its people engaging in farming it was created to attend to various needs of the people at the grassroot level by bringing governance nearer to them
MANDATE
The Local Council Development Area now firstly mandated under Oyo State Gazette of 13th August, 2002 but scrapped due to some bottle neck policies.
It was later mandated under Oyo State Gazettee of 7th December, 2016 during which additional 35 Local Council Development Area were carried out of the existing Local Government in the State which gave birth to Inukan Local Council Development Area, Ajia.
